		Gay Games V - Friendship '98 Amsterdam, The Netherlands A quarter of a million visitors from all over the world attended Gay Games V on August 1, 1998. In addition to local treasures, the city of Amsterdam hosted performing and visual arts, gay film festivals and music. 14,700 athletes competed in thirty official sporting events, 42% of them were women.   Thanks to Darrique Barton, Stephen DeRose and Brenda Pitts for their effort compiling these results.
