SPORTS INCLUSION & RETENTION SUB-COMMITTEE
This work group will work to ensure the followup of the inclusion of the recent SIR proposal in the GGIX RFP and continue its reflections on the future of the sports program after GGIX.
- Responsible for responding to requests for inclusion from GGIX bidders (2009)
- Test and modify if necessary the request for inclusion forms (RFP appendix)
- Prepare for reviewing these requests for inclusion of new sports
- Continue to develop a review process to monitor the continued relevance and
suitability of all sports Core and Additional after each Gay Games to make sure they
continue to meet our criteria to be included in the FGG
We are looking for a co-chair, in particular someone motivated by the long-term issues of
data collection and processing for a post-GGIX policy on sports inclusion and retention.
