HEALTH & WELLNESS SUB-COMMITTEE

The purpose of the Health and Wellness Sub-Committee is to ensure that a pro-active AIDS and breast cancer education, awareness and prevention campaign is an integral component of each Gay Games.

It is the intention of the Sub-Committee to assist The Federation in setting policy regarding AIDS and breast cancer prevention and education; to promote The Federation's commitment to health and the fight against AIDS and breast cancer; to work with Host Cities to establish guidelines and help implement AIDS and breast cancer prevention messages, programs and activities; and to memorialize Federation members and Gay Games participants who have been lost to AIDS and Breast Cancer.

Since breast cancer is a recently added focus of this task force, our awareness sticker has been changed so that the ribbon is half red and half pink. The stickers are now available. To obtain them simply email the Task Force using the link below. Please include in your request the number of stickers you would like, your affiliation (Team, Sport, or Cultural Organization), the address to which to mail them, and a contact person and phone number.
